A spokesperson for the Parish Council issued the following statement:
"Following the mediation agreement between the VA and CBCT, we are waiting for CBCT to confirm the details of the transfer of the lease for the playground to the Parish Council.
As soon as this happens, we will close the playground and get going with the refurbishment. We will, of course, be consulting the community at this point. In the meantime, parents need to be aware that the playground has been classified as 'high risk' and users should be very careful."
