Director Appeal - Update
We had an excellent response to our appeal for new directors to join the VA Board. Thank you to everyone who contacted us. As a result, we now have a number of residents who will be working with the VA over the next few months with a view to becoming directors. Fly Tipping
Over the last year there has been a significant increase in fly-tipping. When fly-tipping starts - it rapidly spreads, and it does not take long for an enormous pile of rubbish to collect. Even an old Christmas tree, a broken microwave or an old car battery left outside a property can encourage random fly-tipping. The VA has already removed many fly-tipped items which incurs fees and costs. This therefore impacts us all. To avoid this, for larger domestic waste, please use th

Capital Expenditure
As highlighted at the 2024 AGM the VA's focus during 2025 has been to replenish the financial reserves and to plan for maintenance and repair work needed in 2026. Apart from some small minor repairs we have therefore only carried out maintenance where it was considered the work required was critical or which presented a safety risk. Acacia, our gardening contractors, are busy replenishing some areas of planting and clearing leaves in addition to regular maintenance. Please be aware that while they are clearing leaves, they will at times be in the roads around The Village so please drive carefully and be prepared to stop if necessary.

Resident Surgery
Saturday 17th May 2025 – 11.30am -13.00pm at The Boundary on the Green (outside seating area). This ‘drop-in’ session is designed to provide an opportunity for residents to hear and engage in the work of the VA as well as to further improve the transparency of the VA and the projects and work we are involved in.
