On Saturday 15th September, VA Directors held another open ‘Residents Surgery’ session at the Fleeting Brook.

These sessions are designed as an opportunity for residents to learn more about the priorities and work the VA are involved in, ask questions and discuss any areas of concern they may have.

Topics raised and discussed by residents included:

  • Landscaping and areas needing more planting.

  • Parking issues, particularly around Stirling Drive & Weston Drive and the Anzio/Adair Gardens and Stirling Drive junctions.

  • Level of weeds currently around the development.

  • Concern on increase in level of crime around the development, especially around garages being broken into.

There was also interest shown and a useful discussion on introducing Neighbourhood Watch.

Once again, the VA thank the Fleeting Brook for hosting the surgery and we look forward to continuing them in 2019.
