The VA held their Directors meeting on Thurs 7th November. The following headline topics were discussed.

  • General maintenance projects inside The Village

- The Directors discussed the unsatisfactory repairs to the kerb stones made by Surrey County Council. The VA are chasing SCC.

- Review of the state of repair of the bus shelters.

- Successful completion of the repairs to the boundary walls

- Successful competition of tree works

  • Year-to-date financial review and 2020 budget discussions

  • Parking

- The VA continue to explore more ways to improve the current situation

  • Preparations and planning for the upcoming AGM

- The AGM will be held on Tues 26th November at 7pm in Elizabeth Court Care Home and is open to all residents of The Village. VA Members (home owners) have been sent the full meeting agenda, proxy voting form and the financial report.
