The VA held their last Directors meeting of 2019 on Thurs 12th December. The following headline topics were discussed.

  • General maintenance projects inside The Village

- Successful completion of repairs to the Bus Shelters

  • Parking

- The VA continue to explore more ways to improve the current situation

- Continued parking problems on Coldstream Rd which prevent carers visiting residents

- Progress report relating to the reduced parking bay spaces on Weston Drive.

  • Bins

- The VA are undertaking a full review of the public bins around the Cricket Green and smaller public bins around the development.

- How to encourage residents to store their bins tidily? The VA welcomes emails from residents on this topic.

  • Planning applications

- The Directors reviewed a retrospective planning application inside the Village which is in breach of planning regulations.
