Reporting Crime

The VA have recently held a meeting with our Wardens and Tandridge Police, including their Borough Commander to discuss anti social behaviour and other issues within The Village.  We are very grateful to the Wardens for the excellent service that they provide for our community, which is recognised and appreciated by the Police.  There are times when it’s important for us to call the Police to report an incident immediately and before contacting the Wardens.  Timing is critical to give the Police the best chance of catching suspects so we request that Wardens are only called after the Police in the case of 999 calls.

In an emergency, or if a crime is taking place now, please call 999 or otherwise you can call 101.  To make it easier to report crimes that have taken place you can now use the “chat“ facility on the Surrey Police website (www.surrey.police.uk) or report on Tandridge Beat sites on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn. All crimes need to be reported to help Police to prioritise their patrols.
