THE VILLAGE ENVIRONMENT

This year marks the 22nd anniversary since The Village was completed!
After over two decades of British weather, many of the original fittings are beginning to show their age and are in a little need of some TLC. To keep the Village looking its best and to protect the long-term value of our homes, the VA is encouraging everyone to take a fresh look at their property’s exterior.

We know that many of us have busy lives but if you have a moment, we kindly ask you to check your home’s exterior condition including:

● Front Doors: A simple fresh coat of paint or stain in the original palette can make a world of difference.

● Garage Doors:  Some have holes in them, some need a refresh of paint or stain.

● Wooden Fencing:  Replacing rotten wood, repairing or re-staining of weathered panels helps too.

● Railings and Gates:   May need cleaning and a fresh coat of paint or stain.

● Porticoes/Porches:  Green verdigris can build up on porches and porticoes over a number of years. The appearance of these coverings would be much improved if this was removed.

With thanks in advance for your help in keeping The Village looking well cared for and an attractive place to live.
