CCTV and ANPR

The 3rd CCTV camera has now been installed on the bin store at Boundary Point. This provides coverage of the green and playground area, Weston Drive, Stirling Drive and both entrances to Alexander Crescent.

As highlighted at the last AGM, an ANPR camera (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) has also been installed at the main entrance, close to the warden’s hut. The police have worked closely with us on this and we believe it will be a major help with crime prevention and detection. Indeed, we have already been able to supply the police with key vehicle information in several instances.

John West and his team have worked closely with the police and data protection authorities to ensure we are fully compliant with all necessary codes of practice and regulations.

We are committed to ensuring that the levels of safety and security at The Village are as high as possible.
