The VA held their Directors meeting on Thurs 4th July.

The following headline topics were discussed.

  • General maintenance projects inside The Village

Including bins, car park repairs and signage topics.

  • Speed limits

Following SCC’s official decision not to implement a 20mph limit inside The Village, the Directors continue to discuss other future options to control vehicle speeds.

  • Double yellow lines

Status update on the planned Double yellow lines - with note to the recent accident on Coldstream.

  • Boundary Point CCTV

A status update regarding the Boundary Point CCTV coverage residents consultation process

  • Gardening topics and Tree survey updates

  • Planning issues

Including the Tesco Car Wash proposal.

  • Residents Surgery 20th July

Discussion of the arrangements for upcoming residents surgery to be held in Brigade Place.
