The VA are aware that a group of travellers drove onto the Cricket Green this afternoon. (Wed Nov 13th)

The Wardens immediately contacted the Police and CBCT (the Cricket Green owners).

Our uniformed Warden promptly engaged in a conversation with the travellers and diplomatically convinced them that it would be a wise idea for them to leave The Village.

The registration plates of the caravans were captured by The Village ANPR system and have already been logged with the Tandridge Safer Neighbourhood Team.

Due to the soft ground there has been some damage to the Cricket Green.

The VA and residents thank the Wardens for their decisive and efficient action.
