In light of the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions and concerns of a resurgence in the number of cases, the VA has taken the decision to move the AGM to being online this year. The AGM will therefore be held on Tuesday 24 November at 7pm and will be held using ‘Zoom’ video conferencing.

We appreciate that not all residents may be familiar with Zoom but over the coming weeks we will make it as easy as possible for those Members who want to participate to do so, both on the night but also to have the opportunity to cast their votes and ask their questions in advance.

We are confident that with the right planning and good administration & facilitation on the night that we can make the meeting work. We have a lot to plan and arrange and will share more information when we can, we will also endeavour to keep as much of the meeting the same as prior years for continuity and familiarisation purposes. The agenda will therefore include:

  • Overview of the work of the VA in 2020 & our plans for 2021

  • Review of the 2019 financials and money spent

  • Review and approval of the 2021 budget

  • Election of Directors

  • Question & Answer session

We will share more information via our Facebook page, email distribution list and the website www.villageassociation.org over the coming weeks.
