The meeting included the following headline activities.

Regular update from the Warden Service

The Wardens joined the meeting and gave a detailed report on activity within The Village during lockdown.

Of note were the number of vehicle movements in and out of The Village.

Before lockdown the average was 8000 movements per day. After lockdown the average was 2000 per day. More recently, the average is at 3500 per day.

Maintenance projects

Several maintenance projects around The Village have still been able to move forward even during lockdown. These include repairs to car park lighting and electrical improvements inside the Wardens hut.

Larger maintenance projects, such as the upgrade to the public bins especially around the Cricket Green, are ready to move forward when lockdown conditions are eased.

The Directors also reviewed the poor quality of the repairs to the car park outside the Arc.

Social distancing

The ‘social distancing’ situation for the Wardens and for Acacia was again reviewed. It was agreed that both Acacia and the Wardens can continue to work safely under lockdown conditions.
