A new camera is soon to be installed in Brigade Place at its junction with Guards Avenue and Grenadier Place, thanks to Julia and Roger at No. 21 for their help in making this happen.

The consultation with nearby residents has taken place and the necessary data protection documentation completed to ensure we comply fully with ICO and Surveillance Camera Commissioner’s requirements.

The computer has also been upgraded to handle the increased data flow from the new camera and any other additional cameras in future.

This new camera will be a valuable addition to the Village CCTV set up and apart from covering all of Brigade Place and Guards Avenue it will also pan down Grenadier to the Village entrance from Green Lane. The safety and security of all residents and users of the Village is a top priority for your VA.
